Today's highly digital and fast paced society enables a person’s thoughts to make its way to the entire world within seconds. We live in a culture that knows no boundaries and has no thought of consequence when it comes to voicing personal opinion. Teen suicides related to cyber bullying are at an all time high and continue to climb. Television has turned from good family entertainment to who can one-up the other person with the better putdown line, an attempt to elevate one person by demeaning another. When should the right to freedom of speech be balanced with the responsibility of the communicator to use wisdom and good judgment with a keen understanding for what is best for all who are engaged in communication?
In Did I Just Say That, author Jeff Bell takes us back to the root of it all, the use of our words. Jeff teaches the importance of thinking before we communicate whether verbally or in written form and just as important, how we speak to our self.
Since the age of fifteen Jeff Bell has had a call and
passion to help people make the most in life.
Jeff has Associate Degrees in Business Administration and Accounting, a
Master of Divinity degree through Andersonville Theological Seminary and is a
licensed Pastoral Counselor through the National Christian Counselors
Association.
For nineteen years he has
faithfully served as a pastor at churches in Illinois, West Virginia and Iowa.
Jeff Bell has a strong desire to lead God’s people
into evangelism and community outreach.
Currently he resides in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with his wife Tammy and their
daughter Brianna.
